Superfight
SuperFight 15 MMA fight night, Friday March 20th
Two Professional Title Fights will headline the March 20th, 2020 SuperFight series. The event will be held at Club Punchbowl and feature the country’s top fighters in both the professional and amateur ranks.
Abel Brites vs Chris Drummond
Abel Brites takes on Chris Drummond for the vacant Super Lightweight Title. Brites is ranked amongst the top 10 Lightweight fighters in Australia. Chris Drummond has been active in MMA since ’09 and boasts an impressive Kickboxing and Muay Thai record, a team mate of former UFC fighter Rob Wilkinson and the legendary Priscus ‘the Tassie Devil’ Fogagnolo.
Mohammad ‘Scarface’ Alavi VS Nurbolat ‘Nobby’ Kyandyk.
Mohammad Alavi takes on ‘Nobby’ Kyandyk for the newly vacant Featherweight Title. Pound4pound, Mohammad Alavi is the most explosive fighter in the country and will be fighting for the Superfight Title against Team Perosh prodigy Nurbolat ‘Nobby’ Kyandyk. Boasting a 5-1 MMA record.
Cody Barnwell vs Goran Olujic
Cody Barnwell will represent NSW in his interstate bout vs South Australian striking expert, Goran Olujic.
Harry ‘Kimura’ Gretch vs Justin ‘The Prodigal Son’ Danielson
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu sensation Harry ‘Kimura’ Gretch makes his Professional MMA debut. against Justin Danielson a NZ fighter calling SA home and keen to cause an upset.
This event will feature a full undercard of action-packed Amateur fights including the East Coast Amateur Lightweight Title: Michael Stanoff (Lions Den Academy) vs Naim Stephens (Nova MMA Newcastle), along with many more amateur bouts.
